"No!" screamed Fam, sliding under INFOS and leaping at Exalndria bringing Aiylier and Daiylier round to strike, the blades freezing as they moved. The lexarch held up a gloved hand, no longer uncertain or worried about what to do. The twin blades steamed as they melted into the Flame Glove but Fam pushed on, forcing Exalndria onto one knee.

For this reason, as well as excessive hunting for their ink and meat, the kraken have become quite rare... they also look disgusting, I might add..."

Symbolism - Part 2

It First of all I must apologise for the delay in getting the second part of the symbolism series out but it took me longer to find the appropriate, and up to date, symbols than I had previously expected. Also, for those of you following the adventures of Orpos, Exalndria, Fam, Gedrick and INFOS, they have recently come into contact with The League of Hunters so I thought I'd include their symbol as well for a more in detail series of posts. And, so, in this post I have five different symbols for you as well as the name of the symbol, the owner and a brief history (from an excerpt from a book written by an expert on the separate factions - not that I'm not an expert but sometimes it's nice to hear other people's points of view). Symbolism - Part 1

Hello all. I apologise for only being able to put out the weekly Legacy of O.U.T.L.A.W.S. posts but, as I've said, I've been very busy with my own, already expansive (and terribly unorganised), chronicles. Anyways, one of the main things that I've introduced but haven't really explained have been the symbols of the Elemental Universe. In fact, some of you (I'd hope most of you) would, probably, have spotted my own symbol. And then, of course, you've got the O.U.T.L.A.W.S. symbol among others. And, so, I have decided to do a series of posts detailing the main symbols of the Elemental Universe (which will be updated as more show up in other posts/if I find one that really interests me). This will include a brief history, who's symbol it is and, of course, the symbol itself. And, I think that the first symbol I'll look into is my own:

The Legacy of O.U.T.L.A.W.S.: No. 3 The Briefing

The shadow moved further into the room, stepping into the light. The artificial light reflected off of the creature's two horns and four eyes before revealing his crimson skin. The oni (for that was what the creature was) stood at close to three meters and was highly muscled with scars covering the majority of his arms and torso.

The Legacy of O.U.T.L.A.W.S.: No. 2 The Team

Fam and Gedrick walked through a tall glass door into a huge entrance hall full of Elementals of varying size and depiction. The ceiling was high, so as to easily fit even the largest of Elementals (ogres, trolls and the like) and the walls were far apart so that the whole hall gave the impression of power and supremacy. As well as the glass door that Fam and Gedrick had just entered through, there were dozens of alcoves along the top of the left and right walls. These alcoves were entrances to the hall and had an almost continuous flow of Air Elementals (either messengers or agents) entering the building. On the other side of the hall was a desk that ran about half the length of the wall. The desk was covered in various screens and computers, each handled by a different Elemental. Behind the desk was a massive map depicting the Element Island in impressive detail. On either side of the desk was another door that led to a series of corridors and other rooms. In the middle of the floor was the symbol of the O.U.T.L.A.W.S.: a circle with a question mark and the acronym on it (as well the Elemental's ten pointed star). As the pair walked past it they noticed the ever-present colours of the Elements reflecting off of the polished surface of the floor.

And now for something a bit more... recent. I have been conveying with my good friends (and, yes, I do have friends!) INFOS and Exalndria and they think that it would be a good idea for me to detail their, and their teams, adventures. So, here it is; the first part in the Legacy of O.U.T.L.A.W.S. saga! The series will follow a weekly posting format which will detail the latest adventure of O.U.T.L.A.W.S. all conveyed to me by INFOS and the other members of the team.

ES

Time for the second part in explaining, in brief, the two of the main cultures of the universe. Again, I'll write my own, completely unsided, opinion. So, read on to find out about the ES:

Elementals

I told you that you would be able to read about the Elementals later, didn't I? Well, here it is, a brief description of one of the great factions of the universe. Originally, I planned to give you an excerpt from an Elemental or ES written book but, so as to avoid any unnecessary bias, I've decided to give you my, completely unsided, opinion.

Teleport Sword

The final part of the weapons (and utilities) week is one of the most iconic and useful ES weapons of all time, the Teleport Sword:

And now for something a bit more... ancient. I'll give you a hint: it's a firearm! Get it, because it's a Fireball? Never mind...

EagleEye

Time for a different author now, I think as well as something a bit more... weapon-y. Behold, the EagleEye:

Right then, I think I'll share some of the most interesting inventions of the ES next. But who are the ES and who are the Elementals, I hear you cry?! Well, you'll have to wait until next week for that little titbit of information as, for now, I have some weapons and other inventions to share (and not just because I'm still looking for the best description of them - there's a lot of different books and papers to look through, you know!), all of which are more or less unrelated except for being from the same two authors. First up is the Elemental Changer:
