Where We Are

Right then so, now that you know a bit about me as well as the greater universe, why don't we find out a bit about the centre of it? I think that this writer puts it pretty well:
The Element Island is located in [CLASSIFIED] on top of the highest concentration of Ley Lines in the world. There are eleven different ‘Sections’ that make up the Element Island. The first ten correspond to the highest concentration of Elemental Energy in the area and go in the order of (from the northern most point, clockwise) Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Life, Light, Darkness, Time, Knowledge and Berserker. In between the Berserker and Fire Sections is the Elemental Void (a Section void of all, natural, Elemental Energy). All of the Sections radiate from a centre point although the name and purpose of this place is unknown. The different triangular sections all combine to form a perfect circle. Each Section is divided by a border that contains equal amounts of each Element. 

The main inhabitants of the Island are the Elementals and humans. The Elementals, generally, live in their corresponding Elemental Section while the humans live in the Elemental Void due to their lack of a need of almost constant Elemental Energy to remain healthy. It is not known when the Elementals arrived on the Island although humans are thought to have arrived just before the Age of Armament. 

It was cut off from the rest of the world from the Age of Isolation until the Age of Humankind when some members of the outside human race were recruited to the ranks of the ES. The energy and cost of transporting humans from the outside world onto the Island is very high and so is done with the utmost care and only when necessary. However, nobody has ever left the Island after reaching it, so it is not known if this is possible. 

The purpose of the Island appears to be as a birthplace of Elementals and somewhere to hold the Elements themselves. All Elemental Energy originates on the Island before radiating to the rest of the world. It is not known how long the Island has been around for but it is expected that it is as old as the world, if not older. 

It is approximately [REDACTED], although it is not known for certain, with every Section being more or less equal size. The exception to this rule are the Fire and Berserker Sections which were both divided in half during the creation of the Elemental Void. Again, it is not known exactly when the Elemental Void was formed although it seems to coincide with the creation of the ES. Slowly, the Elemental Void is spreading across the Elemental Island due to a sudden decrease in Elemental Energy. 

As is to be expected, the climates range from Section to Section with the hottest place being the Fire Section and the coldest and wettest being the Water Section. The climate even changes throughout the Sections with the northern reaches of the Water Section being frozen and the parts closest to the centre of the Island being mild.
