"It's about time you got here!" exclaimed Exalndria, who was sitting on top of the Chevron, which she had set down inside of a crater, just before The Hunters Rock. Members of The League of Hunters were patrolling about a mile into the distance. "I've been here for ages!"
Fam, who had just arrived, didn't answer, perhaps due to her currently being occupied in gasping for breath.
"I would expect, milady, that the reason for you being here 'for ages' before Miss Peacelyre is that you had the advantage of the Chevron... you cheater..."
"Yes, thank you INFOS," said Exalndria, irritated, "Although, I still came first."
"Actually, milady, I believe that it was I who arrived at this crater first, I can show you the video footage if you would prefer... ha ha, loser!"
"You should really sort out that bug on INFOS's system, Exalndria," said Orpos, who had also made it to the crater and was doing decidedly better than Fam.
"Perhaps I'll just scrap him entirely," replied Exalndria, smiling, "Especially if he makes another comment like that!"
"I'm afraid that that will not be possible, milady, as I have been programmed to always state the truth and to aid the O.U.T.L.A.W.S. when at all possible. If I have to make 'a comment' in order to complete my programming, then I will be forced to."
"Hmm, I appear to have walked into that one, right, INFOS?"
"Correct, milady."
"And where's Gedrick?" asked Fam looking around for her friend.
"Oh, he wanted to walk," said Exalndria, jumping off of the Chevron "He didn't like the idea of flying."
"No, I didn't think he would," replied Fam, "No matter, now we have some time to plan our infiltration of The Hunter's Rock."
"INFOS, bring up the map of The Rock," said Exalndria.
"Yes, milady," the robot projected a map of The Hunter's Rock onto the base of the crater.
Exalndria walked into the projection and looked around, "Right, Jared Kyko should be here," she pointed at the very back of The Rock, in a room labelled 'The Command Room', "The best way in is through here," she pointed to a small door in the side of The Rock, labelled Entrance Six' "It'll be hidden, somehow, but, thanks to INFOS, it shouldn't be too hard to find. However, we will still need to make it through three more rooms, here, here and here," she pointed at 'The Canteen', "The Armoury' and 'The Map Room', "Due to the time of day, these should be the easiest rooms to get through. We will then enter 'The Command Room' and knock out Jared Kyko using these," she handed a small silver rod to Orpos and Fam, "These are Electrifiers, they'll send an non-lethal electric current through Jared that will knock him out. I predict that we'll then have exactly 4 minutes, 53 seconds in which to get out and to the Chevron which I will use to take Jared back to base," she smiled "You will have to run back to extraction."
"Sounds great," said Gedrick, who had been waiting by the top of the crater for some time "Now, can I have one of those Electrifiers?"
"Of course Gedrick," said Exalndria, throwing one to him, "Did you hear the entire plan?"
Gedrick nodded and made his way down to the bottom of the crater, "Shall we get started?"
"I'll go first," replied Fam, "And deal with any... unwanted patrols. I wouldn't mind some covering smoke, though,"
"Of course," said Gedrick, taking out Smokespitter, "I've got your back."
Fam nodded "Let's go," she ran out of the crater, staying low, and headed towards 'Entrance 6'. Just before she reached the line of sight of one of the guards, Gedrick fired three shots from Smokespitter. The area around Fam, leading all the way up to the entrance was then covered by smoke. After about two minutes Fam returned to the crater, Aiylier and Daiylier frozen and stained red. She spoke the word 'Tidal' and the blades turned to water again. "Shall we?" she motioned towards 'Entrance 6'.
"Yes, let's go," replied Orpos heading towards the smoke, "Exalndria, we'll need INFOS to find the door."
"Of course, Master Beastslayer, I shall fulfill my purpose," said INFOS, heading out as well, with the rest of the team following him.
When they reached the area that 'Entrance 6' was supposed to be located, they were met with a blank cliff-face. INFOS scanned the rock and the outline of a door appeared. Orpos went forward and pushed it, entering The Hunter's Rock, the rest of the team behind him.
