Split Stone

Next up is the Split Stone from the same author who wrote that last bit of information on the Elemental Changer:

The Split Stone is another marvel of technology (as are all the inventions in this book, actually). The objective of this invention was to enable the application of two Elements to one item. It was conceived shortly after the development of the Elemental Changer and became a big success. Unfortunately it doesn't, quite, have the same wide range of application as the Elemental Changer due to the item that you want to split the Element of has to be modified in order for the Split Stone to work. It is still a great bit of engineering and has been used to great success on many occasions.

It was developed by Parceal Kino two years after the development of the Elemental Changer (in the year 1436 AR) and later distributed all around the ES. The most common, and one of the best, uses for the Split Stone have been to split the Element of an Element Shield although there have been great successes with splitting the Element of a Teleport Sword. The actual Stone itself is a small diamond shaped piece of modified, and solidified, Earth Energy (hence the term Stone).  

It has helped with many missions into Elemental territory and is especially useful on the Elemental Borders due to there being two Elements prevalent there. It is still being modified and we might even see a Tri Split Stone at some time in the future.
